Over the weekend, Sydney Sweeney made her Saturday Night Live debut. The actress dazzled in a custom Alex Perry dress and rocked glamorous locks. Here's how celebrity hairstylist Glen Oropeza achieved the "bouncy blowout."
First Glen used Kérastase Chroma Absolu Serum Chroma Thermique and Kérastase Premiere Serum Filler Fondamental on Sydney's damp hair to supply heat protection and nourishment. Then he relied on the Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System (on sale through March 7, by the way) with the concentrator attachment to rough dry Sydney's strands. The oval brush attachment was used to smooth things out for a polished finish.
Next came the wave. Glen once again switched things up with the Shark FlexStyle auto wrap curler attachment and curled the hair in one direction while leaving out a few face-framing pieces. Then he changed the direction on the auto wrap curler in order to curl pieces up front away from Sydney's face. Kérastase Premiere Reparatrice was immediately applied for glossy shine. Last, but certainly not least, Glen brushed out the wave and wrapped things up with Kérastase Laque Couture hairspray to ensure the wave went nowhere during the opening monologue.
