The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives became an instant reality TV phenomenon when it debuted in September 2024—and since then, the Hulu hit has been on a bullet train that doesn’t show signs of stopping. Seasons 2 and 3 both premiered in 2025, but even before the release of the third installment on November 13, 2025, stars Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck competed on Dancing With the Stars, Mayci Neeley published a memoir, and #MomTok leader Taylor Frankie Paul was announced as the next Bachelorette. The casting move wove a reality TV Multiverse of Madness—and cemented the Mormon Wives in the pop culture canon.
The drama truly never stops with the Mormon Wives, and not just because they blast it all over TikTok. Because so much has been happening on- and off-screen (especially since season 3 was filmed in spring 2025 before it premiered in November), fans have been wondering if their show will return for more and what might be captured on camera. Below, we’re breaking down everything we know about The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 4.

Has 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' been renewed for season 4?
Pour out a dirty soda: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has officially been renewed for more! Hulu announced in a press release that it ordered 20 more episodes of the reality TV hit. So, not only is a fourth installment confirmed, but season 5 is also on the way. (Season 2 and 3 also each featured 10 episodes that were ordered together and then filmed back-to-back.)
The renewal came just under two weeks after the season 3 premiere and was all but a given: The show's viewership has consistently grown, and season 3 instantly landed at No. 1 on the Hulu Top 15 Today list. (That's not to mention that star Jen Affleck let it slip in an October interview with PEOPLE that she was simultaneously filming Dancing With the Stars and SLOMW.) But we'll take it!

When will 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' season 4 be released?
God bless: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 4 will premiere on Thursday, March 12, with all 10 episodes airing on Hulu. Hulu confirmed the news via a press release in late January.
It's unclear when the entire season was filmed, but based on Jen's comments, it was shot at least partially in fall 2025.
TSLOMW tends to follow a rapid release schedule, so season 4 comes just four months after season 3. That's not to mention the reunion that dropped in early December (although fans expressed frustration over the reunion and how much was left unresolved/only teased at, in anticipation of season 4). Still, there's always something going on with #MomTok, so we expect season 4 to be a highly anticipated release, nevertheless.

Who in 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' cast will return for season 4?
We should see more of the entire core cast in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 4. So, it’s likely Jen Affleck, Demi Engemann, Whitney Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura, Taylor Frankie Paul, Layla Taylor, and Miranda McWhorter will all return.
When Taylor was announced as the next lead in ABC’s The Bachelorette franchise, some fans were concerned that meant they would see less of her on SLOMW. When she revealed the casting on a September episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, however, she said she would pull double duty on both shows. Based on the production schedules or what the producers decide to show on and off-screen, she could be in less of the Hulu series.
We’ll also have to wait and see how much Demi and Whitney are featured in season 4. Demi, for instance, wasn’t featured prominently in season 3, following an attempt to negotiate for higher pay (which ultimately contributed to her feud with Jessi). And Whitney admitted to the cameras that she only returned for season 3 so she could audition for Dancing With the Stars. Still, it’s hard to imagine anyone will exit the series at this time.

What will 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' season 4 be about?
When it comes to fueling the flames of drama on and off camera, no one does it better than the Mormon Wives. And, thankfully, we already have an idea of what we can expect from season 4.
When Hulu confirmed the season 4 premiere date, it also shared the installment's official synopsis: "The stakes for #MomTok are at an all-time high as their sisterhood faces the forces of their expanding fame. When Taylor is announced as 'The Bachelorette,' and Jen and Whitney head to Dancing with the Stars, competition creates chaos, temptations arise, and tradition turns upside down. Up against unraveling marriages, personal demons, and family secrets—they must choose to lean on each other or face their fates untethered and alone on the world’s stage. Will the women remain loyal to their sisterhood to save it? Or will #MomTok shatter forever?"
Things seemingly heated up on the dance floor while Whitney and Jen were on DWTS season 34, which culminated in a feud between the two of them. Jen, who was eliminated from the show the week of October 28, told E! News she and Whitney were “not on good terms.”
“There is no relationship,” Jen said of Whitney. “Because being on Dancing With the Stars was a dream of both of ours, we—at least for me—just wanted to make that experience only positive and leave the drama for our other show. Unfortunately, there [were] moments where it was hard [for it to not] bleed into Dancing With the Stars.”
We'll also have to wait and see just how much of Taylor's journey on The Bachelorette also makes it onto TSLOMW. Season 4 could show the behind-the-scenes of how she was cast, a glimpse into her preparation for the show, her family’s reaction, or even the filming process. The season, set to premiere on March 22, 2026, is in the midst of filming and began shooting in the fall.

Taylor’s ex, Dakota Mortensen, remains an active member of #DadTok—the coalition of #MomTok partners currently making their own social media content—and was featured heavily in season 3, which could mean SLOMW will continue to document any drama between the exes. His infidelity, unveiled at the end of season 3, may have been what sent Taylor running into ABC’s arms, and audiences might expect to hear his reaction to the news in the next season or see how it affects their coparenting.
There’s also the ongoing feud between Demi and Jessi. Though they agreed in season 3 to move on from their argument, they hardly reconciled. Recently, Demi participated in bedding brand Cozy Earth’s bed rot challenge with Whitney and took part in a lie detector test for the concept. When Whitney asked her if she thought Jessi was “good at color and extension,” Demi quickly replied, “No.” Jessi then responded with her own TikTok, in which she prances around her hair salon JZ Styles while lip-syncing to Taylor Swift’s “Father Figure.” “Some say I can’t do hair,” the video’s caption reads. “But this empire belongs to me.” So, it’s safe to say there may be even more jabs exchanged between the two women in forthcoming episodes.
Is there a trailer for 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' season 4?
Oh, baby! Hulu dropped a teaser for season 4 when it unveiled the premiere date—and it's a doozy! Recapping the reality stars's whirlwind past year in which they've spread their wings, Layla praises their accomplishments while adding, "All the cool opportunities could potentially pull us apart."
Beyond that, many tears are shed, leading to heartwarming embraces and intense phone calls. One moment in particular that stands out features Taylor crying on the phone as she exclaims, "I hate you all because you all knew." Meanwhile, a rumor is thrown out that she could be a "pregnant Bachelorette." Truly, how will #MomTok survive this? We'll have to wait and see!
