The Scottish car park named as the UK's most instagrammable spot for capturing Milky Way and Northern Lights

A little-known car park in the Cairngorms has been named as the most instagrammable dark sky location in the UK.

The rural Gleconglass Car Park, which can be found in Ballindalloch in Tomintoul, has been named as one of the best places in the country for a spot of stargazing.

Property developers, Essential Living, ranked it as the most Instagram worthy with nearly half a million tags on the popular social media site.
