The Savannah Bananas delightfully paid homage to the Chiefs’ spinning huddle formation

The viral-ready exhibition baseball Savannah Bananas always have some zany antics in store, and the team recently played homage to the Super Bowl champs.

As they prepared for an upcoming batter, the entire Bananas outfield gathered in a “ring around the rosie” formation and went in circles before dispersing across the baseball diamond.

If the move looks familiar, it’s the same formation quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs famously used in January.

While that play got called for a penalty on the Chiefs, the Bananas can kind of just get away with whatever they want since silly moments like this are part of the team’s appeal.

The Bananas can always be counted on for shenanigans like this, and they did a heck of a job getting the spinning huddle going before dispersing throughout the outfield.

All sports teams are going to want to copy the Chiefs in at least some way, shape or form, and Savannah found their lesson in the most hilarious way.
