Over the years, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stirred up turmoil in the Royal family.
And now, it seems even King Charles is at the end of his tether with the pair.
According to the Times' royal editor, Roya Nikkhah, “those close to Charles say he is becoming increasingly exasperated” by his younger son.
“The King brings Harry up every time I see him. I don’t think we’ve moved past sad and bewildered, but there’s a bit more frustration at his behaviour because it just keeps going,” the source said.
It comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's various TV appearances and Harry's tell-all memoir 'Spare', with Harry's transitioning from diligent royal to estranged outcast.
Last week, the Duke returned to London to take to the witness stand in one of his plethora of court cases.
Whilst in the courtroom, the dad-of-two slammed the British Government, stating that they had hit "rock bottom."
And according to reports, Palace insiders were left wholly unimpressed.
“I think he’s been sitting in the Californian sunshine for a long time, hanging out with James Corden [the actor and TV host] and has lost all the instincts on how to do this, how to conduct himself carefully, still as a member of the royal family,” a source who knows Harry well has said.
“He’s lost the knack of what he can and can’t say and there is no one around him to say, ‘No, Harry, you can’t say that, take that bit out’. It’s embarrassing for him and for Britain, for a prince to be saying, ‘We’ve got a s*** government’.”
A royal source told Nikkhah: “The Palace will find that extremely difficult and uncomfortable, because you can never fully separate yourself from the institution and it will have raised eyebrows on both sides of the park — at Westminster too — not least because it wasn’t necessary for the core of his case.”
Meanwhile, former royal aides whose past include stints working with Harry and Meghan “pushed their relationships with the media to the limit defending them,” Nikkhah reports.
Following the revelation that the King is “increasingly exasperated”, “bewildered” and “frustrated” by his son, insiders have also confirmed that neither's schedule was cleared when they were both in London.
