Legendary rock band The Rolling Stones are coming to Liverpool tomorrow, with a hotly anticipated show at Anfield Stadium.
The band, formed in the 60s, is one of the most enduring bands of the rock era and has spawned a number of hits, including Jumpin' Jack Flash, Sympathy for the Devil, Gimme Shelter, Wild Horses and more. Much to the delight of fans, the iconic rockers have confirmed a number of European tour dates in celebration of 60 years together.
The Rolling Stones SIXTY tour will include a number of high profile destinations, including Amsterdam, Milan, London, Liverpool and more. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood will be joined on stage by drummer Steve Jordan, following the death of Charlie Watts in August last summer.

Tomorrow, Thursday, June 9, The Rolling Stones will take over Anfield Stadium. Doors open at 4pm, though the band won't take to the stage till later in the evening. The support act for The Rolling Stones is Liverpool's own Echo & The Bunnymen.
The Rolling Stones are due on stage at 8.45pm. If you're lucky enough to have tickets and are heading to the event, there's a number of things to be wary of.
Getting to Anfield Stadium
There's a number of ways to get to Anfield Stadium, though it's best to plan your route in advance. If you're travelling by bus, there's express services that takes passengers to and from Anfield and Liverpool city centre in around 15 minutes.
The 917 express shuttle bus service operates from Commutation Row in the city centre from 3.30pm each show day. You can find out more by clicking here. From the city centre, there's the 26 from Liverpool ONE bus station; 17 from Queen Square Bus Station or the 917 from Commutation Row, directly to the ground. The 68/168, which operates between Bootle and Aigburth, and the 14 and 19 (from Queen Square) stop a short walk away from the ground.
The Concert Bus will run from Sandhills Station, on the Merseyrail Northern Line, to Anfield for all concerts at Anfield. The Concert Bus will run from 4.30pm on show day. You can find out more by clicking here.
If you're travelling from outside Liverpool by train, Lime Street station is based two miles from Anfield. From 1.30pm each show day, LFC will have a dedicated fan support team based at the station to help direct fans to the most convenient transport services, including buses. There's also taxis available from Lime Street.
If you're travelling by train within the Liverpool area, Merseyrail operates regular services across 67 stations throughout Merseyside. Passengers can get regular services into Liverpool from Ellesmere Port, Chester, West Kirby and New Brighton on the Wirral Line and Southport, Ormskirk, Kirkby and Hunts Cross on the Northern Line.

Road closures
There will be a number of road closures in operation at the event. Walton Breck Road will be closed from 12pm – 12am (midnight).
Anfield Road is a no through road due to LFC's Anfield Road stadium expansion. Bus diversions will be in place for local residents - all the latest information for residents can be found on LFC's local resident hub here.
Parking at Anfield Stadium
There is no car parking available at the stadium. If travelling by car, it's advised to use city centre car parks. An express shuttle bus service ( the 917 ) is available from Commutation Row to the Stadium and will operate 30 minutes before stadium gates open.
There is limited disabled car parking available at Stanley Car Park, which must be pre-booked. Parking can be pre-booked by contacting LFC's disability team at disability@liverpoolfc.com. There are disabled drop off and pick up areas on Arkles Lane and Gilman Street, which service both sides of the stadium.
There are a number of residential streets surrounding the stadium. LFC strongly advises ticket holders not to park on any residential streets, as parking enforcement will be in operation during concerts and major events. Any illegally parked cars will incur a fine.
