Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has wished Jeff Bezos a happy birthday, and he included a light-hearted dig at the Amazon founder in the celebratory message.
Known for his goofy humour, the former wrestler couldn’t resist including a dad joke in his Instagram post as he wished Jeff Bezos a happy 58th birthday on 12 January.
He shared a picture of the two of them walking together with his 289 million Instagram followers along with the caption: “Happy Birthday to my tequila drinkn’ buddy & ohana Jeff Bezos.
“As an entrepreneur, I can tell you that he has all the tools to run a successful company one day.

“But he just needs to figure out a delivery system that meets the needs of the consumers.
“He’s a good man and a good hang. Very kind soul, big laughs with a big heart - the stuff that matters.”
If this friendship seems surprising to you, you might have missed another post from The Rock last summer, showing the two men posing together on a beach.
They do have something in common. They are both entrepreneurs, after all.
The pair were together as part of a collaboration between Amazon Studios and Seven Bucks Productions, which is co-founded by The Rock.
Wearing an Amazon shirt, The Rock remarked that by wearing his Amazon shirt the pair were “twinning”.
He wrote: “Shared passions and always putting in the hard work with our own two hands. I look forward to this one, brother. Teremana is on the way!”
At the People’s Choice Awards 2021 in December, Johnson received the People’s Champion accolade from his “tequila drinking buddy” Bezos.
When Bezos announced the award winner, he said it was someone not only “larger than life”, but also “strong, handsome [and] bald”.
"Hey, it’s a good look," Bezos said.
Bezos also received a sweet Instagram message from his partner Lauren Sánchez. Sharing a video of Bezos throughout the years, she also shared a lengthy caption that ended: “I wake up everyday excited to love you.”
