The Rock spits drink out in response to Michael Chandler's KO of Tony Ferguson

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson had a priceless reaction to Michael Chandler's brutal front kick knockout of Tony Ferguson at UFC 274 last weekend.

Chandler produced one of the best knockouts in UFC history by landing a perfect front kick that rendered Ferguson unconscious before he even hit the canvas. Ferguson was rushed to the hospital for a CT scan after the loss but was later released without concern.

Johnson is a huge MMA fan and presented the inaugural 'BMF' title to Jorge Masvidal when he beat Nate Diaz in 2019. The WWE star even once considered trying his hand in MMA when his wrestling career wasn't working out but realised he "hated" being punched in the face.

Whilst reacting to the fight in what appears to be real time, Johnson toasted his Teremana whiskey brand to the camera and took a sip of the drink as Chandler landed the knockout blow. He then spat his drink out in shock as Ferguson went down.

"Let me tell you, you can feel the electricity through the TV. I can just imagine how it is in this arena, let's f****ng go boys. A little Teremana toast. Cheers," he said before the knockout. Holy f****ng s***! Chandler caught Ferguson I think with a right high kick, that was in-f****ng-credible."

Chandler's front kick knockout is one of a handful in UFC history and the top lightweight admitted he has never practised the technique before. "I don't know if I saw it in the moment, my body just moved, foot to face and a couple of back-flips," he said.

"Sometimes the fights materialise exactly how you want them to and sometimes you stay within your normal box of what you use. Sometimes it works and sometimes you throw something you never, ever thought you would land, never mind knock someone out with.

"It's not something we train; I have the best kickboxing coach on the planet in Henri Hooft but we don't train front kicks. The main reason is it hurts my toes so my right foot is a little sore and I'm a big baby when it comes to my feet getting hurt.

Chandler called for a fight against the winner of Oliveira vs Gaethje after his knockout victory, of which the Brazilian went on to win by submission in the first round. 'Iron' also called for a welterweight fight with Conor McGregor which the Irishman agreed to whilst congratulating Chandler on Twitter.
