The Real Housewives of London: Fran Cutler seemingly confirms she'll be starring on the reality show

Dubbed “the Party Rottweiler” for her high-profile events in the 90s, Cutler has seemingly confirmed her place on the upcoming show - (@francutler Instagram)

With instalments in Beverly Hills, Dubai and even Cheshire, it’s been confirmed that the Real Housewives franchise will finally head to London for its next destination, with filming beginning next year.

Announced at the Hayu FanFest on October 26, British fans have long called for the capital to have its own iteration of the famous show, which has earned a place in the reality TV hall of fame for documenting the glamour, catfights and scandals that make up the lives of some of the world’s most affluent women.

The series will be the franchise's 30th iteration and will produced by the same team as Made In Chelsea and the Cheshire adaption, which celebrated its 17th series earlier this year.

As expected, the rumour mill regarding the cast has already gone into overdrive, with names including Ekin Su, Poppy Delevingne, Trinny Woodall and Tamara Ecclestone flying around online.

However, it seems as though one housewife has already confirmed her place on the cast: Fran Cutler. Taking to her Instagram story on Monday, the 61-year-old reposted a TikTok by Ben Johns in which he gives his top picks of women he’d like to star in the show. “I can already imagine the opening episode of the franchise featuring a party thrown by Fran,” Johns says in the video. Cutler, in response, simply captioned the story, “The secret’s out...”

For those unfamiliar with Cutler, the PR guru was dubbed “the Party Rottweiler” in the 90s for her elaborate and exclusive get-togethers, which included a weekly party at the Met Bar in Park Lane. Her legendary events led her to become an instrumental member of the Primrose Hill set - a star-studded friendship group of which Kate Moss, Sadie Frost, Jude Law, the Gallagher brothers and Sienna Miller were all a part of - who were surrounded by rumours of hard partying, drugs and bed-hopping.

Although the set seemingly crumbled amid Frost and Law’s divorce in the early 2000s, Cutler still works in events and welcomed guests including Cara Delevingne, Stella McCartney, Rita Ora and Noel Fielding to her 50th birthday party at Soho’s The Box in 2013, which was covered by Tatler.

Moss - her reported partner in crime - was also in attendance, although it’s believed the pair fell out later in 2018 after Cutler accidentally sent unflattering images of Moss with derogatory comments about her looks to the supermodel herself.

However the pair’s daughters - 22-year-old Lila and 23-year-old Mercy - appear to be friends, being photographed together at birthday parties over the years, so viewers will be eager to hear an update on the former BFFs’ relationship when the series debuts in the latter half of 2025.
