It may be almost 100 days until Christmas but Ayrshire retailers are already gearing up for the festivities.
A number of shops have been quietly ushering in small displays with 96 days until December 25.
Traditionally, retailers go big on festive displays in the days after Halloween has passed.
But each year the festive retail window appears to be expanding as firms look to maximise on the most profitable time of year.
One shop that always goes big for Christmas is The Range and their Kilmarnock shop has been doused in all that glitters in preparation for Crimbo.
The Queen's Drive Retail Park store had three aisles dedicated to festive decorations last week and a grotto stuffed with Christmas lights was in the process of being established.
