Three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and former Super Bowl champion Aaron Donald announced his retirement from football.
After a dominant career played entirely for the Rams both in St. Louis and then subsequently in Los Angeles, fans of the franchise will absolutely miss his presence as an interior defender. He was, unquestionably, one of the best defensive players the sport has seen.
Donald deserves his flowers for his amazing professional career. But while some are celebrating his accomplishments on the field, others are assuredly celebrating that they will never have to play against him again.

The Rams had a perfect tweet to acknowledge exactly that.
After his announcement, the team posted “Quarterbacks Rejoice” as a hilarious reaction to the fact that no opposing offense (and offensive lineman) will ever have to face the future Hall of Famer ever again.
