The eyes of the world are set to fall on London on Monday, September 19 for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and TV schedules will be dominated by coverage of the huge state event.
It has now been over a week since the much loved monarch passed away peacefully at her treasured Scottish estate Balmoral at the age of 96, with her passing sparking an outpouring of grief and tributes the world over. In the days that have followed her death, global audiences have watched momentous occasions like King Charles III's first address to the nation, his proclamation as monarch and the Queen's journey back to Buckingham Palace after landing back in England.
Her Majesty's body is currently lying in state at Westminster Hall in London, with members of the public and well known faces like David Beckham and Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid queuing up for hours to pay their respects, while Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were spotted in a press queue.

The Queen's funeral service is set to start at 11am on Monday, with the state event to be followed by the procession of the Queen's through the Wellington Arch and onto Windsor, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband.

BBC
8am-5pm
Coverage on BBC television will be led by Huw Edwards, as well as Kirsty Young, Fergal Keane, David Dimbleby and Sophie Raworth.
Huw and Fergal will be covering events from London, Kirsty and David will be in Windsor, Sophie will be at Parliament Square, with other BBC presenters Anita Rani at the Long Walk at Windsor and JJ Chalmers at Wellington Barracks.
The BBC's nine hour broadcast will run from 8am - 5pm and include build up to the Queen's funeral, the Westminster Abbey service itself and then the procession to Windsor, where the Queen will be laid to rest alongside Prince Philip.
On Monday evening, BBC will air Paddington II, in a clear nod to the Queen's Jubilee sketch with the famous bear.
ITV
6am-5pm
ITV's coverage will begin with a special edition of Good Morning Britain, before, at 9.30am, a special programme titled Queen Elizabeth II: The State Funeral, fronted by Tom Bradby and Julie Etchingham, will guide viewers through the historic day, covering the funeral service at Westminster Abbey, the mile-long military procession escorting the Queen through London, the Queen’s final journey to Windsor and the committal service at St George’s Chapel. Tom and Julie will be joined by colleagues including Chris Ship, Rageh Omaar. Nina Hossain and Charlene White.
Moving into the evening, at 7.30pm ITV will broadcast a documentary film, Queen Elizabeth II: A Nation Remembers, chronicling the events of the past ten days from Her Majesty The Queen’s death to the state funeral.
At 9pm, there will be a further special documentary programme, Queen Elizabeth II: The Final Farewell, focusing on the day’s events.
Sky News
5am-5pm
Kay Burley will be live from Westminster Abbey with early morning updates from 5am outlining how the day will unfold.
From 9am, Anna Botting and Dermot Murnaghan will begin a special broadcast of the funeral procession, starting with Anna reporting live from Westminster, with coverage of the State Funeral Service at 11am.
At 2pm Dermot will takeover to report live from Windsor Castle as the procession begins to make its way from Westminster. Throughout the day, Sky Royal Events Commentator Alastair Bruce will provide analysis of the historic events as they unfold. While Kamali Melbourne and Gillian Taylor will be at Windsor Castle and in London respectively, speaking to the crowds who have come to pay their respects.
At 7pm, Sky presenter Mark Austin will reflect on the day's events.
