Following the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday, September 8, many people have been keen to learn more about the monarch.
While Her Majesty spent her life in the public eye, many details were kept private. But in the wake of her death, a growing number of people who spent time with her have lifted the lid on her very down-to-earth habits.
For example, the Queen was said to have loved watching TV. We are all familiar with the concept of staying up late to watch one more episode, and it seems the late monarch was the same.

Speaking during the documentary 'Secrets Of The Royal Kitchen', royal biographer Lady Colin Campbell detailed that the Queen liked to catch up with her favourite shows while she eats.
At the time, Lady Campbell said: "She has her dinner off a tray looking at the television. She likes it. It’s homely and cosy and it’s comfortable."
And earlier this year, one journalist let slip what the Queen told him his favourite TV show was - after keeping it quiet for more than two decades. Writing in the New Statesman back in February, Phil Jones recalled an interview he had with Her Majesty back in 2001.
He said: "My brain kept saying 'I'm talking to the Queen and I can't think of a single thing to say!' In the end I alighted on 'What's your favourite programme?'
"Straight away she said, 'The Kumars at No 42' and, even more astonishingly, proceeded to recite some of the one-liners from the grandma character, played by the brilliant Meera Syal".
