If you've ever fancied a taste of living like royalty, well now you can. Her Majesty, The Queen is offering up the quaint cottages on her Balmoral Estate, perfect for a staycation.
Of course, the estate will be open to the public when she is not in residence, so you won't be bunking with The Queen. With eight cottages in Balmoral to choose from, you can bag a night's stay for as little as £16 if its split between a certain amount of people.
As the Daily Mirror reports, prices start from £555 and Colt Cottages, which is the cheapest, can hold five people if two sleep on the sofa-bed. When breaking it down, the cost, which is based on a week-long stay between January 7 to March 31 2023, works out at around £79 per night for a family-of-five, or just £15.80 per person, per night.
