Yesterday at Headingley Rugby Stadium, The Princess Royal, who serves as the Patron of the MND Association, expressed her gratitude towards the fundraisers who have been supporting the cause. The event was a heartwarming display of unity and dedication towards raising awareness and funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Accompanying Her Royal Highness was Rob Burrow, the former England RL and Leeds Rhinos player, who was diagnosed with MND in 2019. Despite facing this challenging diagnosis, Rob, along with his teammate Kevin Sinfield, has been actively involved in fundraising efforts for MND research. Their relentless commitment has not only contributed to advancing research but has also played a significant role in increasing public awareness about this incurable condition.
