A Mumbles sports bar has been totally revamped from a dowdy venue into a stunning traditional real ale pub.
The 150-year-old Mumbles Ale Pub has not only been given a dramatic lick of paint but cinema seats, bowler hat wall lights, comfy sofas and armchairs, along with old suitcases and a chequerboard floor.
Live music, and a dog-friendly vibe are also hoped to help pull in the punters.

Landlord Gerrard Armor, was determined to give it a new look as he and his wife Bronwen are fans of interior design, which attracted Keith Hatherall, who along with his wife Tracy to take over.
The premises is also in the pink thanks to its striking exterior.
For more than 20 years The Hatheralls have run a variety of different pubs and hotels across south Wales, including a recent stint at the Newton Inn, also in Mumbles.
They were landlords at Neath-based the Bear Pub, Charlies Wine Bar, and the 28-room Bluebell Hotel, in addition to five years managing the bar at Neath Rugby Club.
Former landlord Gerrard, who along with his wife Bronwen took over what was formerly known as The Victoria Inn in Westbourne Place in December, 2018, worked hard to make the pub popular with locals.
He said: “We are so pleased to be able to share this news with our customers as we know that the Mumbles Ale House is going to be in great hands.
“We’re looking forward to them carrying on our legacy of a mostly real ale pub but with their own twist as they plan to introduce different beers, lagers, bar snacks and bowl style hot food such as curries and chilies which we’re sure will go down really well.”
The pub building at 21 Westbourne Place is also home to a two-bed holiday let apartment above it which the Hatheralls will continue to run.
They also have props from the film version of Under Milk Wood on display thanks to their pal Kevin Allen, who directed the movie version of the Dylan Thomas play.
People are also drawn to the pub by the old well which is covered up with a glass top with a light inside so people can take a look within.
Plans are in place to open the Mumbles Ale House from Wednesdays to Sundays with quiz nights on Wednesdays and live acoustic music planned for Sundays as well as occasional pop up kitchens.
