Trends come and go, but you can learn a lot from the ones that stick around. To me, country grandmother-inspired tableware is the perfect example: while it might have seemed like a fleeting, kitsch-fuelled frenzy, it's more popular than ever – and my current favorite take on the trend is The Pioneer Woman's new tableware collection with Walmart.
Ree Drummond, creator of the The Pioneer Woman, is a design and hosting expert who's channeled her signature country charm into a new collaboration with Walmart. From delicate floral dinnerware to scalloped serveware, this drop is the epitome of cottagecore style – and although the red and white color palette is ideal for the holidays, I'd say that every piece is undeniably versatile for year-round use.

There aren't many collections that are as perfect for spring as they are for Christmas, but this one really will work hard for every season. Perhaps it's down to those intricate botanical motifs, but I can imagine pulling these pieces out of my hosting closet for any garden party or classic summer gathering – although I'm just as excited to use them for elegant winter soirées.
I can't resist the timeless look of vintage tableware, and The Pioneer Woman's new collection with Walmart emulates some of my most treasured flea market finds. I've fallen head over heels for pieces like the Agatha stoneware appetizer plates, but I've got my eye on plenty of kitchenware, too: how could I say no to a whistling tea kettle or a set of vintage lace ceramic nesting bowls? This is grandmother style at its most charming, and I can't wait to dive in.

From the sweeping florals on the interior to the intricate floral pattern on the rim, I adore the subtle details on this bowl. It feels like a real heirloom piece – without the price tag.

Taper candles can transform any tablescape, and this one is a wonderful choice. I've spent hours searching for similar pieces at antique stores, so shopping the look at Walmart is such a treat.

According to Joanna Gaines, green and white vintage tableware is an instant classic – and this gorgeous platter certainly proves her point. I'll be making use of it for years to come.

Swap bold red tones for earthy brown hues and display this handsome pitcher on your table or countertop. I love the decorations on the handle, and the subtle etching on the rim.

If you prefer a more modern take on the cottagecore trend, I think these scalloped pinch bowls are perfect. They're brilliant for serving garnishes and sauces during any meal.

If, like me, you're smitten with every piece in this collection, investing in the 12-piece dinner set is the answer. I can't wait to show it off at my next dinner party.
Hunting for more vintage-inspired additions to your table setup? Joanna Gaines' heritage-style cake stand is my latest obsession – and it makes the easiest centerpiece if you're hosting a crowd.
