Every year about this time color-predicting brand Pantone reveals its pick for the color of the upcoming year. This time it's extra special because it marks the 25th anniversary of the Color of the Year program. (The first shade to receive the honor way back in 1999 was PANTONE 15-4020 Cerulean Blue.) Next year's hue is a surprisingly nurturing selection.
PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz is officially 2024's color and it's described as "softly nestled between pink and orange." It conveys kindness and encourages belonging, too. What does all that mean exactly? It means you'll start seeing peach popping up on every fashion runway. Of course, Pantone is already ahead of the game and has partnered with several brands. Motorola, Shades by Shan, Ruggable, Spoonflower and Cariuma are already offering products in the soon-to-be-in-high-demand shade.
So you may want to make your New Year's resolution to invest in a few fuzzy peach pieces.
