Christmas (and Jim Carrey) fans rejoice: it’s been announced that a sequel to the beloved holiday classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas is in development. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ron Howard is returning to direct the film, while the live-action Cat In The Hat writers Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel will develop the script. Most importantly, Jim Carrey is in talks to reprise his role as the iconic Dr. Seuss character, which begs the question of how the actor will endure the hairy green costume for a second time.
