Mohamed Salah has been tipped to make Premier League defenders 'suffer' after returning to Liverpool following heartbreak in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations final for Egypt.
Former Scotland manager Alex McLeish has highlighted how 'brilliant' it was of Salah to return to Liverpool so quickly after suffering defeat to Senegal in a penalty shootout.
Jurgen Klopp revealed during his pre-match press conference for Liverpool's match against Leicester City that the final was still on the mind of Salah - who is in the squad for tonight's game.
McLeish believes the Egyptian can use the loss in the final as fuel for his performances for the Reds during the remainder of the season.

McLeish told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Absolutely brilliant. What a man. He’s very well respected in the game.
“Defenders respect him too well because he scores goals against them.
“A great player. The one thing is, when you lose a football match, you don’t want to wait a month before you play again. You want to play the next week.
“He’ll think: ‘I want to get it all out of my head. I’m going to make the opposition suffer.’
“That’s why the likes of Mo Salah are the best players on the planet.
“I wouldn’t think the African Cup has taken any great energy, mentally and physically. I believe he’ll want to come back to the status that has everybody drooling over him.
“He’ll come back wanting to plunder the Premier League.”
