It's been a while since I've dined out for a Sunday roast and even in the warm summer months, it's a comforting treat that just hits the spot, even if afterward all you're fit for is a lie down on the sofa.
We were invited to The Old Inn Restaurant, Crawfordsburn which was last year bought over by the Galgorm Collection, and having stayed and dined in several other places under the Galgorm brand I had high hopes for The Old Inn.
Having never been in Crawfordsburn before the first thing that struck me was how quaint and beautiful the village was, with The Old Inn a prominent feature. Just 20 minutes from Belfast you really would be forgiven for thinking you had travelled much further out of the city.
