All the nominees for Best Actor at the 2026 Oscars

  • The 98th Academy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on 15 March.
  • The nominees for Best Actor are Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Michael B Jordan (Sinners), and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent).
  • Actors Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman revealed the nominations live on Good Morning America and YouTube in January.
  • This year also introduces a new competitive award, Best Casting, expanding the total number of Oscars presented to 24.
  • The category aims to recognise the creative contribution of casting directors, marking the first new Oscar category added in more than two decades.
