The Night Agent season 3 release date and reviews

The Night Agent season 3 was released on February 19, 2026.

The Night Agent season 3 trailer
Netflix sure kept us waiting for the first full trailer for The Night Agent season 3, with the streamer dropping it online on January 21. In the promo, which you can watch above, we hear Sutherland say that he "made a promise to protect people" as he beats up baddies on the rooftops of Istanbul. "So where do you need me?"
We then see Sutherland being briefed on a terrorist attack that happened "two nights ago", before another bunch of clips suggest that Sutherland is having a difficult time working with Louis Herthum's Jacob. He then reaches out to new character, journalist Isabel, for help, despite the fact that she "has no reason" to trust him... Tensions and political are high, to say the least.
The Night Agent season 3 plot (spoilers)

The Night Agent 3 synopsis promised Peter being "called in to track down a young Treasury Agent who fled to Istanbul with sensitive government intel after killing his boss.
It continued, "This kicks off a sequence of events where Peter investigates a dark money network while avoiding its paid assassins, while putting him on a collision course with a relentless journalist. Working together, they uncover buried secrets and old grudges that threaten to bring the government to its knees - and get them both killed in the process."
After a season filled with twists, turns, and plenty of political machinations, the newly installed President gives the order for Peter's partner Adam to kill Chelsea, not long after he bumped off Jacob and made it look like a suicide.
With Chelsea sniffing out Adam's intentions and the net closing in on his higher-ups, she causes a car crash. Mercifully, Peter comes to the rescue, all while spelling out the POTUS' corruption to Adam.
Elsewhere, the race is on to expose President Hagan's crimes. When those are brought to light thanks to Freya's testimony and Jacob's files, he pardons himself ahead of an impending investigation.
But what of Freya, the woman involved in broadcasting the President's wrongdoings? She doesn't exactly get away scot-free, as The Father catches up to her and spikes her drink with a fatal substance.
Peter ends the season by heading on a (much-needed) break, but not before he is told of a new partner. In a sweet moment, he even finds the brand of ice cream bar from his childhood, one that brought back memories of his mother.
