Explaining his choice, he highlighted that heavier bats offer better impact with minimal effort, adding that he never goes below 1200 grams.
The reasoning behind this approach is deeply rooted in legacy. Arjun referenced his father, Sachin Tendulkar, who famously played with bats weighing between 1310 and 1315 grams during his illustrious career. The influence is evident, reflecting how Arjun is blending tradition with his own evolving game.
Pant also expressed admiration for Arjun’s dedication, especially upon learning about his commitment to training. Shortly after marrying Saaniya Chandhok on March 5 in Mumbai, Arjun resumed practice almost immediately. He reportedly trained closely with Yuvraj Singh, focusing particularly on improving his batting skills.
