Since summer is pretty much at the halfway point, it's time to start preparing for the upcoming fashion month season. The Council of Fashion Designers of America just released the New York Fashion Week Spring 2025 schedule, which runs from Friday, September 6 through Wednesday, September 11. That gives us plenty of time to prepare for the shows.
Similar to past seasons, this year's calendar is relatively small as more brands have departed to other fashion capitals like Milan, London and Paris, but the lineup is more than worth paying attention to. Area, celebrating its 10th year of business, will be kicking off the week.
Other major New York mainstays set to take over the runways are 3.1 Phillip Lim, Brandon Maxwell, Tory Burch, Prabal Gurung and Collina Strada. There are a couple outliers, though. Proenza Schouler will hold its show before the official week kicks off with an intimate presentation on Wednesday, September 4. Meanwhile, Ralph Lauren will head to the Hamptons on Friday, September 6.
Other names are also heading stateside, including Off-White set to show on the third day, and Ronald van der Kemp ending the season with a Fall 2024 Haute Couture collection on Wednesday, September 11. COS is also returning with a Brooklyn show after taking its Spring 2024 offering to Rome last year.
