The film, rated PG, stars Rahama Sadau, Sophie Alakija and Ibrahim Suleiman.

This World Can’t Tear Me Down

The second animation series from Italian cartoonist Zerocalcare debuts on Netflix this Friday.

"An old friend returns to the neighbourhood after several years away and struggles to recognize the world in which he grew up" - reads the introduction on the Netflix website - "Zerocalcare would like to do something for him but realizes that he is unable to help him feel at home again and make the right choice to find his place in the world."

It appears to follow on from Zerocalcare's debut Netflix series, Tear Along the Dotted Line, which premiered in 2021.

Bloodhounds

The Korean action series Bloodhounds debuts on Netflix this Friday. It follows the journey of two young boxers, portrayed by Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi, as they join forces against a notorious loan shark preying on the poor.

Adapted from a webtoon by Jung Chan, the action series centres on boxing to deliver a powerful and fast-paced narrative. “Powerful hits are crucial in creating an action series with a fast tempo," said director Jason Kim, known for his work on action hits like Midnight Runners and The Divine Fury. "The action scenes in this series are five times more intense than those in Midnight Runners."

The Playing Card Killer

This three-part documentary series explores the crimes of Alfredo Galán Sotillo, who was dubbed Spain's first serial killer. He killed six people and tried to kill three others in the early 2000s.

He chose his victims randomly and shot them with a pistol he illegally brought to Spain from Bosnia, where he was with the Spanish Army on a humanitarian mission. He was sentenced to 142 years in prison.

Tex Mex Motors

Reality series Tex Mex Motors is available to stream this weekend (Netflix)

This eight-part reality series follows the work of car restoration experts in Texas, USA. The show's official synopsis reads: "Junkers turn into jewels when they're in the hands of these pros, who bring cars from Mexico to El Paso for radical restorations in this lively series."
