American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing

Patriots’ Day in Boston is a time to celebrate: Spring is in the air, the Red Sox play at Fenway, and the whole town turns out to cheer the Boston Marathon’s journey from the suburbs to the center of the city. When two home-grown terrorists bombed the marathon’s finish line in 2013, the biggest party of the year exploded into carnage, and as law enforcement launched an unprecedented investigation into the bombers’ identities, their pursuit spilled over into the streets of formerly-quiet neighborhoods, paralysing the city and gripping the post-9/11 world.

To mark the tenth anniversary of the tragedy, this three-part series has been built around the tense, terrifying days that followed the attacks, assembling a minute-by-minute recounting of the manhunt from thousands of hours of closed-circuit video, police radio, and cell phone footage. It also includes testimony from the police officers, FBI agents, and ordinary citizens whose heroics led to the killers’ capture.

Offering historical context, expert insight, and emotional details from those who knew the bombers personally, American Manhunt tells the full story of how the people of Boston came together in their darkest hour to reclaim their city – and the men and women whose lives will never be the same.

Florida Man

When a struggling ex-cop (Edgar Ramírez) is forced to return to his home state of Florida to find a Philly mobster’s runaway girlfriend, what should be a quick gig becomes a wildly spiraling journey into buried family secrets, and an increasingly futile attempt to do the right thing in a place where so much is wrong. Florida Man, from creator Donald Todd, is a wild odyssey into a sunny place for shady people.

Running for my Truth: Alex Schwazer

This new docuseries offers an unfiltered look at the rise, fall and search for redemption of a sportsman, against the backdrop of an intricate sporting and judicial affair. The meeting between the Olympic athlete in search of redemption, Alex Schwazer, and a coach who is a symbol of clean sport, Sandro Donati, triggers an international intrigue that upends their lives and undermines the anti-doping system.

Running For My Truth: Alex Schwazer reveals, for the first time, the background of an unprecedented intricate story. A four-part docuseries where the protagonists of one of the most complex political-judicial cases in the history of Italian sport try to tell each their own truth.

The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die

For a century war has raged through the land between its inhabitants and the Danish invaders. But now a peace has settled with the country nearly united – only Lord Uhtred of Bebbanburg (Alexander Dreymon), ruling over Northumbria, is yet to pledge his land to the throne.

But when King Edward dies the peace is threatened as his two potential heirs, Aethelstan (Harry Gilby) and Aelfweard (Ewan Horrocks), battle to claim the crown. When Uhtred hears that Aethelstan – once his ward and protégé – is to fight, he rides to help him secure victory, but the young prince has fallen under a dark influence and is not the same boy Uhtred once knew.

And when Aethelstan’s actions threaten the life Uhtred has known, Uhtred must decide where his loyalties lie – with the king, or with his homeland.
