The music for the commercial actually comes from the 2022 film Babylon, starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie.
Oscar-winning composer Justin Hurwitz earned an Academy Award nomination for his work on the film, with the 2024 NBA Finals ad using the “Voodoo Mama” track specifically for its party atmosphere.
If you’ve seen Babylon, you know this music was made for a fantastic celebration, which is exactly what you want to feel ahead of Thursday’s start to the 2024 NBA Finals.
