Michael John Owen
(Mike) Suddenly but peacefully at home on Thursday 30th June 2022 aged 75, beloved husband of Eirona devoted father of Matthew and Meurig respected father in law of Kate and Joanne and a much loved and proud Tadcu of Ffion, Lowri, Menna and Elis. Mike will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Helen sadly passed away on the 21st June 2022 aged 53. Helen will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends. Peacefully on July 2nd Sylvia of Rhydyfelin passed away at the Royal Glamorgan hospital aged 68 years. Beloved wife of Derrick and loving mother to Luke, Janine, Matthew & Sharon. A loving sister to Susan, she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Carole Elizabeth Cunningham
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs Carole Elizabeth Cunningham, on 7th July 2022. Following a very long struggle with Alzheimer's, at the age of 82. Carole, passed away peacefully at her Nursing Home, Picton Court in Porthcawl. This had been her home for the past five years. Previous homes were in Cardiff, Cross Ash and Bridgend. Carole will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, of 60 years, Colin. Their three daughters Lisa, Lynne, and Leigh-Anne. Her adored sons-in-law, Paul, Jonathan and Wayne; her much loved and most precious six grandchildren. Which she always proudly announced "I've got three of each!" Nathan, Bethan, Christopher, Sarah, Helen and Jonathan. Her beloved Chocolate Cockapoo, 'Coco' Chanel Cunningham who will also miss her greatly. During her life, Carole began forging many strong friendships, starting at Avery Scales, Frederick Street, Cardiff; then in the community of her marital home in Heath, Cardiff. Her move to Abergavenny, found her becoming actively involved in the local community. Expanding her horizons, after raising her three daughters, she became a much valued member and chairperson of the 'Produce and Handicraft section' for many years, until 1996, when the Abergavenny and Border Counties Agricultural Society Show finished. The funeral service will be held at Coychurch Crematorium, Simonston Road, Bridgend at 12pm on Thursday 21st July 2022. All are welcome to attend. (Bessie) Passed away peacefully on 2nd July 2022 aged 92 Beloved wife of the late Lowell Roberts A much loved mother of Steve, Jan, Ellen, Sian and Owen. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and her older sister Ray. Our dearly loved mother, Florence, peacefully passed away at her home in Upton Street, Porth on Monday, 4th July 2022. Flo formerly of Maindy, Newport, and of Railway Street, Splott, Cardiff. Reunited with her much-loved late husband Clive. Dearly loved mother of Kevin, Stephen, Vivien, and Ian. Adored grandmother and great-grandmother.
