Data has shown the most expensive properties sold across Nottinghamshire in recent months. It accounts for houses sold from April to May.
Government data shows the most expensive was sold for just under £3m: The Poplars, located off Village Street in Edwalton, went for £2.8m. The property made the headlines a couple of years ago when neighbours raised concerns over an extension plan to build a new home next to it.
The second most expensive home was a detached house sold for £1.5m - Abbotts Croft in Rose Meadows in Retford. It was followed by another detached property in Edwalton which sold for £1,060,000.

Here are the 11 most expensive properties sold in Nottinghamshire in April to May, according to government data:
- The Poplars, Village Street, Edwalton - a detached house sold for £2,875,000 on May 4
- Abbotts Croft, Rose Meadows, Barnby Moor, Retford - a detached house sold for £1,500,000 on April 4
- Firs Road, Edwalton - a detached house sold for £1,060,000 on June 1
- Beeston Fields Drive, Bramcote - a detached house sold for £1,000,000 on May 30
- Hall Close, Main Street, Hoveringham - a detached house sold for £900,000 on April 22
- Castle Gate, off Maid Marian Way in Nottingham - a terraced house sold for £855,000 on April 29
- Burnham House, Elm Bank, Mapperley Park - a detached house sold for £800,000 on April 5
- Repton Road, West Bridgford - a detached house sold for £755,000 on April 14
- Church Drive, Ravenshead - a detached house sold for £750,000 on May 5
- The Willows, Oak Tree Court, Tollerton - a detached house sold for £750,000 on April 11
- Harveymill House, Main Street, Flintham - a detached house sold for £750,000 on June 1
