A woman caught her "creepy stalker" neighbour trying to remove secret recording devices he planted in her home after she trusted him to feed her cats. Debbie Wearing-Jones gave a key to William Nolan, 59, and his wife so they could feed her two pets while she was away.
But the 64-year-old was left horrified when she later discovered a voice recorder taped under her coffee table - and another behind the headboard of her bed. The widow turned detective and set up covert webcams to catch the rogue when he came to collect the recording kit.
The OAP sleuth also hoovered her carpet in one direction in an attempt to capture Nolan's footprints. When Debbie, a grandma-of-one, watched the footage back she caught Nolan retrieving the spyware recorders from her home, and phoned police.
