The Miz is constantly unveiling new layers.
Two weeks ago, he wrestled an outstanding match against Seth Rollins on Raw. It was the caliber of match expected from Rollins, yet Miz was every bit his equal. It was an important performance from the 18-year industry veteran, highlighting that he can play many roles in WWE, including setting a high standard in between the ropes.
The match was less of a revelation and more of a reminder of Miz’s skill level. There is a reason why he is trusted to work with celebrities like Logan Paul and Bad Bunny, or called upon to serve as a transition champ while the creative team is finalizing its next move. Miz—whose real name is Mike Mizanin—is a complete performer, and that includes his work away from WWE.
His latest endeavor is an appearance on That’s My Jam, which is hosted and executive produced by famed late night host Jimmy Fallon. Monday’s episode will see Mizanin perform and dance to “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love” in Baby Got Backup.
Airing at 10 p.m. ET, Miz will widen WWE’s reach Monday, which is already robust with the weekly airing of Raw.
“If you thought my WrestleMania musical was good, wait until you see me on That’s My Jam,” says Mizanin. “I had a blast doing this show with Jimmy Fallon and showcasing my awesome singing talents.”
