The latest series of Love Island draws to a close tonight (Sunday August 1). While it is a love it or hate it show, many of us will have found it taking over our summer evenings - as well as our conversations - over the past few weeks.
It's been an explosive season and will soon see one couple win the £50,000 cash prize. It got us thinking, how successful has the show been in finding those perfect matches?
Here's a look at the couples who are still together after meeting on past series since the very first show in 2015 - from lucky winners to series crossovers.
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury
You may have thought they won it but back in 2019, but Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury actually came runners up to Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea. Social media influencer Molly-Mae was a late addition to series five but one date with boxer Tommy in the hot tub and the young lovebirds were smitten.
The pair became 'official' just weeks after their first villa date and upon leaving Spain behind, they moved in together in Manchester. Molly-Mae and Tommy, both 23, now have their own mansion in Cheshire and have already said they're making plans for their future together.
Olivia and Alex Bowen
Olivia Buckland walked into the villa as a single women and emerged with a boyfriend - who is now her husband. Back in series two in 2016, Olivia and Alex Bowen met when Alex arrived late into the series.
After becoming inseparable, the pair finished in second place and just a month later had moved in together. After just five months of dating, Alex popped the question on a romantic trip to New York and Olivia, of course, said yes.
In September 2018, Olivia and Alex tied the knot in their dream wedding - and the first-ever Love Island wedding - at Gosfield Hall, in Essex. This June, the couple welcomed their first child - a baby boy - named Abel Jacob Bowen.
Paige Turley and Finn Tapp
They are still reigning Love Island champs after they won the first ever winter series of Love Island in February 2020 - and the couple are still going strong. The pair spent the start of lockdown together living at Paige's parents' house in Scotland.
Then in June 2020, the singer and footballer moved in together, getting their own flat in Manchester. The pair often share loved-up photos on Instagram, including of their recent holidays to Barcelona, Spain and Malta.
Jess Shears and Dom Lever
Jess Shears and Dom Lever are another couple that proves winning isn't everything. They met in that famous Majorcan villa back in 2017 during series three but their time on the show wasn't easy when Jess was dumped from the Island before her new beau.
A few more complications followed but the pair finally reunited and got married in secret back in 2018. Now living in Devon, the couple celebrated the birth of their first child - a boy called Presley - in 2019. And in June this year, they welcomed their second son.
Jamie Jewitt and Camilla Thurlow
Fans were thrilled when Jamie Jewitt arrived in the Love Island villa back in 2017 as a knight in shining armour for Camilla Thurlow. After finishing in second place, the couple moved in together in February 2019.
The following year, in May 2020, Camilla announced the new that she was pregnant with her and Jamie's first child. Nell Sophia Jewitt was born in October 2020 and in February 2021, the pair announced they were engaged with a sweet Instagram post. They wed in the September.
In May, the couple welcomed their second daughter, Nora Belle.
Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey
Cara and Nathan are one of the original Love Island couples having met during series two in 2016. The pair set it off right away and were inseparable throughout the show and ended up winning the whole thing.
Less than a year after meeting, the couple announced their split. But they reunited months later when they discovered Cara was pregnant with their first child - Freddie.
Cara and Nathan went on to marry in summer 2019 in a secret ceremony and welcomed their second baby - a daughter named Delilah - in July 2020.
Molly Smith and Callum Jones
Molly Smith and Callum Jones are another winter Love Island couple that are still going the distance. Callum met Molly on series six during the always dramatic Casa Amor trip after being coupled up with Shaughna Phillips.
Two weeks after they met, the couple were dumped from the Villa before the finale. Callum and Molly have since moved into a lavish four-bedroom house in Manchester, with their two dogs.
Lucie Donlan and Luke Mabbott
They may have been on different series but Lucie and Luke managed to find a relationship outside the villa. Lucie appeared on series five in 2019 but after various re-couplings she was dumped from the Island.
Luke starred in series 6, the winter edition of Love Island, in 2020 where he finished in third place with his now ex Demi Jones. They split just a couple of months after leaving the villa then in July 2020, Luke and Lucie went public with their romance after weeks of speculation.
The couple moved in together in 2021. In December, ex-plumber Luke popped the question to Lucy under the northern lights. The 25-year-old shared the happy news on his Instagram with a pic of a stunning engagement ring.
He wrote: "Mrs Mabbott to be… The northern lights made an appearance for the perfect moment to pop the question. A night we will never forget.."
