Developer Soma Games announced that the release of upcoming title The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology has been delayed. It's now expected to come out on January 30, 2024. No reason though was revealed on why the launch date has been moved.
The game is based on the wildly popular characters and world of the Redwall book series, created by Brian Jacques. In addition to a book and video game, a movie and TV series is planned to be released on Netflix. The game is part of "The Lost Legends of Redwall" series made possible through a collaboration between Redwall Abbey Company, Penguin Random House UK, and Soma Games.
The game offers a linear action-adventure game that's presented across three acts. Players take on the role of either Liam or Sophia, the newest member of the Lilygrove Scout Corps. As young mice, players go on a journey to save their home from ruthless pirates. Features of the game include:

New Mechanic
This upcoming title is set to introduce a new mechanic which is the dynamic scent system. Instead of the stagnant and pre-design paths which imitate scent, particles now read the wind and the environment to simulate realistic currents and pools. In addition, the scents themselves are now composed of parts and patterns which have been designed around real scent theory.
The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology is going to be available for the PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X/S.
