The highly anticipated second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is set to premiere on Thursday, August 29, at 3 a.m. ET/midnight PT on Prime Video. The first three episodes will be released together, with subsequent episodes dropping weekly on Thursdays until the Season 2 finale on October 3.

The series, set thousands of years before J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books, delves into the history of the Second Age of Middle-earth. Season 2 will continue the exploration of Tolkien's world, focusing on Sauron's return and the creation of the Rings of Power.
