The London Dungeon joins This Morning drama by releasing 'Holly and Phil' queue jump pass

London Dungeon has savagely joined in on the 'queue-jumping' backlash against ITV presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield with a hilarious new offer to visitors.

The This Morning presenters were falsely accused of jumping the queue to witness the Queen's lying in state at Westminster Hall last week.

Many were furious with Holly and Phillip and demanded the two be axed from the ITV show.

On Tuesday, the duo released a statement insisting they would 'never jump the queue' and explained they had media accreditation.

It didn't end there as brands, including Domino's and London Dungeon, have weighed in on the drama with promotions and memes.

According to London Dungeon's press release, visitors who ask for a 'Holly & Phil' when buying their tickets will gain 'queue jumping rights' for the same price as a standard ticket.

"Guests will have immediate access to the next tour of the London Dungeon, jostling past those peasants who have been patiently waiting their turn," it read.

The promotion lasts until Friday.

A spokesperson stated: "The Holly and Phil pass is here for a limited time only. If you’re too good to queue with the rest of the rabble and demand swift and immediate passage into London’s horrible history, then this is right up your alley.

"Don’t be making small talk with the measly patiently waiting plebs when you could be on a one-way path to the front of the queue!"

Recently, pizza company Domino's wanted a slice of the action and shared a hilarious tweet.

The UK account tweeted: "Apologies to anyone waiting on their pizza, we've just received an order from Holly and Phil #ThisMorning."

During Tuesday's episode of This Morning, the duo started the show with a segment of video clips as they marked the past 10 days following the Queen's passing.

They also referenced the backlash and said they went to the lying in state to show all the people who were unable to attend Westminster Hall.

Holly and Phillip went on to insist they never took anyone else's place and would "never" jump the queue.

"We were given official permission to access the hall, it was strictly for reporting on the event for millions of people in the UK who haven't been able to visit Westminster in person," Holly said in a pre-recorded voice over.

She added: "The rules were, that we would be quickly escorted around the edges to a platform at the back. In contrast, those paying respect stood on a carpeted area beside the coffin and were given time to pause. None of the broadcasters or journalists there took anyone's place in the queue and no one filed past the Queen."

However, she admitted they understood the backlash surrounding them being at the lying in state.

"We, of course, respected those rules. However, we realised it may have looked like something else and therefore totally understand the reaction. Please know we would never jump the queue," Holly concluded.
