The Libertines will headline the Saturday date of a music festival set to take place in the Town Moor.
Peter Doherty, Carl Barat, John Hassall, and Gary Powell will be showcasing their debut album, Up The Bracket, when they headline Rock N Roll Circus on Saturday June 11, 2022, at the festival held on Newcastle's Town Moor.
Released in 2002, Up the Bracket earned critical acclaim - earning a place in Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Albums of the 2000s - and put the Libertines into the spotlight. They followed it up with a self-titled album in 2004, before a dramatic split. They reunited in 2010 and released a third album, Anthems for Doomed Youth, in 2015.
