NEW DELHI: Former India cricketer Mithali Raj expressed her emotions in a note addressing the retirement of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja from T20Is.
Raj emphasized that while a chapter closes, their legacy remains. The trio made the announcement after India secured the T20 World Cup 2024, clinching victory against South Africa by seven runs in Barbados on Saturday.
Mithali Raj highlighted their significant contributions to the T20I format, describing Kohli and Sharma as the two highest run-getters and Jadeja as a brilliant all-rounder.
