It can be expensive if you'd like to try some of the finest dining establishments in Leeds.
At Leeds's only Michelin starred restaurant the Man Behind The Curtain, you're looking at at least £65 per person. At Michelin Guide recommended restaurant HOME, the short tasting menu is £88.
But there are some slightly cheaper options if you'd like to sample Michelin recommended venues in Leeds without breaking the bank. If you head out to the very west of Leeds to Drighlington, you can visit Prashad.
Prashad has a fixed menu where you pay £45 for two people, and get two courses each. It's available Tuesday through Thursday and on Sundays.
The £45 menu includes Khanda Bhaji and Chaat for starters and the Chef's Thali and Masals Dosa for mains. The £22.50 each is before 10% service charge is added.
And Prashad comes highly recommended - as well as being honoured by Michelin, it came second on Gordon Ramsay's Best Restaurant back in 2010. The restaurant, co-owned by Bobby and Minal Patel, has also featured on the latest season of the Hairy Bikers.
Dave Myers and Si King said they 'really admired' the chefs at Prashad, and were excited to make Gujarati food for the venue. Prashad moved to Leeds in 2012 from its original home in Bradford.
Other slightly cheaper options on the Michelin Guide list in Leeds include the small plates at Forde in Horsforth. You can also get the main course of a Sunday Roast for less than £20 at Forde.
If you'd like to do a slightly cheaper tasting menu, it's £45 per person at Crafthouse and most of its main courses on the A La Carte menu are under £30. Ox Club and Dakota Grill are also on the slightly lower end cost-wise of Michelin guide restaurants in Leeds.
