All of these different groups mean the company can provide all sorts of services to its clients. This includes emergency and medical cover for businesses, CCTV and recruitment services and divisions like Waking Watch were set up after the tragedy at Grenfell Tower to protect communities.

Now, according to co-founder and Managing Director Ashley Wood, the company has just won a contract with the next Ryder Cup in Rome. He said: "We are extremely proud to have reached this 20-year milestone and all the achievements that have come along with it. It doesn’t stop there though – we look ahead to the next 20 years, where our focus will remain on finding new ways to innovate our business and provide the best service to our clients."

Triton has also stayed in touch with its Yorkshire roots. Commercial Director Lauren Paver said: "I think that's always been part of our charm, if you like.

"We service a lot of contracts down in London and I think having them Yorkshire roots, it's heritage, it's who we are. It remains really critical to our identity and we never shy away from that and I think that actually helps us gain contracts if anything."

The company has also decided to try to give back to the local community as part of their 20th anniversary celebrations. This 'Year of Giving Back' will see the group support a different charity for each month of the year.

These include the Trussel Trust, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, CEO Sleep Out Leeds, St Gemma's Hospice and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Triton will also be launching a number of apprenticeships to give local people more opportunities with the company.

Lauren Paver said: "Social value is something very close to our hearts at Triton. It is a privilege to be able to help those who are less fortunate by raising awareness and supporting our chosen charities.

"As a company, we feel a duty of care to give back to the community, and we will continue to do so as we celebrate 20 years of Triton and beyond."
