QLD
Queensland has recorded 3,358 new COVID-19 cases over the past day.
Eleven more people with the virus have died and there are 596 COVID patients in the state's hospitals.
NSW
New South Wales has reported the deaths of 29 people with COVID-19.
The state has recorded 10,515 new cases.
ACT
Canberran authorities have reported 464 new COVID cases today, as well as the COVID-related death of a woman in her 60s.
There are 135 people in hospital, including four in intensive care.
VIC
Another 5,550 people have tested positive for COVID in Victoria.
There are 605 people in hospital and 36 COVID-related deaths have been confirmed by authorities in the last day.
TAS
Two people in Tasmania are being treated for COVID-19 in intensive care units, with a total of 80 people in hospital.
Another 661 cases were identified in the past day.
NT
Another 184 positive COVID cases have been identified in the Northern Territory.
A total of 43 COVID patients are being cared for in hospital and two are in ICU.
SA
One person has died with COVID in South Australia in the latest reporting period.
The state has recorded 1,919 new cases are 269 people are in hospital.
WA
Health authorities in Western Australia have confirmed 2,739 new cases and seven deaths dating back as early as July 29.
Eleven people are in intensive care with the virus and 323 are hospitalised in total.
