The Lamborghini Temerario Doesn't Need a V-10: Video Review

The 2025 Lamborghini Temerario is the latest chapter in Sant’Agata Bolognese’s storied supercar lineage. When we drove it on the track earlier this year, it blew us away with its instant acceleration and unbelievable handling, especially for Lamborghini’s first hybrid sports car in this segment.

Our colleagues at Motor1 Italy recently drove the Temerario on the road. Even within speed limits, broken pavement, and traffic all holding back the Temerario’s full performance capabilities, the Huracan’s successor was no less thrilling.

The Temerario is a jaw dropper from the moment you walk up to it. The first thing you notice is how Lamborghini’s design language has evolved compared to the original Huracan. Yes, the lines are unmistakably Lamborghini—sharp, aggressive, and sculpted—yet the Temerario has a more refined elegance compared to some of its more radical siblings.

That carries over to the interior, too. Inside, the Temerario combines luxury with functionality; advanced displays, quality finishes, and thoughtful ergonomics make it more livable than some Lamborghini predecessors.

At the heart of the Temerario is an all-new twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 hybrid with a screaming 10,000-rpm redline. Paired with three electric motors in a plug-in hybrid configuration, it delivers upwards of 907 horsepower.

Naturally, we’re not able to test all that power on public roads, but the Temerario will get to 60 miles per hour in around 2.7 seconds, and continue on to a top speed of over 210 mph. Both on the road and on the track, the acceleration is addictive, especially coming out of corners.

With a revised aluminum chassis and improved aerodynamics, the Temerario feels composed at speed. The steering is sharp, with agility that inspires confidence in tight bends. Driving the Lamborghini Temerario on public roads reveals a supercar that’s as much fun to live with as it is wringing out hard on the track.
