The San Diego Padres had a night to remember on Monday when they rallied to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks on back-to-back home runs in the ninth inning.
And as wild as the scene was at Petco Park, the Korean call of Ha-Seong Kim’s walk-off blast might have been even wilder.
Kim — who followed up on pinch-hitter David Dahl’s solo home run — ended the game with a blast to left field off Scott McGough. It was the first time in MLB history that a teamed walked off on back-to-back home runs from the No. 8 and No. 9 hitters. It was nuts.
And this was how it sounded on Korea’s SpoTV Now broadcast.
If Ha-Seong Kim's #walkoff wasn't electric enough, take a listen to the Korean call. 🔥

An absolute frenzy.
Every April MLB game could use that kind of excitement. MLB fans also particularly enjoyed this call from the Korean announcers.

This is like the South Korean version of having Gus Johnson and Kevin Harlan share a booth and I am here for it. https://t.co/Xf6idmP88w

American broadcasting needs to embrace just yelling into the mic when big moments happen. https://t.co/1CcjSOHr2i
