The Killers made a Scots superfan's dreams come true when frontman Brandon Flowers invited him on stage to play drums on one of the band's biggest hits.
Kyle Grieve, a drumming teacher from Edinburgh, was given "the opportunity of a life time" as he played drums during For Reasons Unknown in front of 20,000 people at the Falkirk Stadium.
The 28-year-old first caught Brandon's attention during their Monday gig - the first of two nights in central Scotland - with a sign saying "can I drum?".
Kyle decided to chance his arm for the second time on Tuesday night and his luck came in when he was pulled up on stage to perform with the American rock group.
Speaking to Falkirk Live, Kyle, who also plays in the band Retro Video Club, said: "I have been up all night absolutely buzzing.
"I still can't believe this happened, and I can't stop watching all the videos.
"This has been a life time dream and there are no words to describe what it means to me or how I actually feel.
"I was there on Monday night and I had a sign saying 'can I drum'.
"I held it up too late and Brandon shouted to me: 'If you want to drum you need to mean business'.
"So last night I went back and I took a sign saying: 'Tonight I mean business'.
"He asked me to come on stage and I got to drum during 'For Reasons Unknown'."
The Killers are currently in the middle of a UK Tour, with Monday and Tuesday's gigs their first ever in Falkirk.
Despite being hauled on stage in front of 20,000 people, Kyle insisted he felt at ease once he got drumming along with the Mr Brightside hitmakers.
He added: "I was nervous about catching Brandon's eye and being invited up but once I actually got on stage, I was relaxed and it was the best feeling ever.
"The crowd reaction was awesome, they were all cheering, the buzz was just incredible.
"I was there with my mate Ricardo, who I met because he is also a massive fan of The Killers. Last night was exactly 10 years to the day since we became mates, so that made it a bit more special too."
More than 40,000 music fans turned out over two nights, with the band later tweeting that the crowds were 'Pure. Dead. Brilliant'.
