The Killers have been ordered to turn down the volume ahead of tonight's gig at the Falkirk Stadium following noise complaints.
Furious locals took to social media last night to complain about the noise and bass level during the Mr Brightside-hitmakers' performance in front of 20,000 people.
The volume and vibration could be heard in Larbert, which is around 5 miles from where the gig was taking place.
Falkirk Council say that measures have been brought in ahead of this evening to ensure noise levels are reduced to placate disgruntled residents.
In a statement, bosses said: "We had officers there monitoring last night as there are specific licence conditions related to noise.
"These conditions are similar to those used throughout Scotland.
"We have used these same conditions for previous events, and we generally get very few complaints from such events at Falkirk Stadium.
"We are aware of a couple of reports on Twitter of the music being loud some distance away.
"We also received a small number of complaints last night/this morning.
"Our team spoke with the noise consultants employed for the event last night and they have already agreed to reduce the levels for tonight’s event."
