An 'aggressive' Arsenal supporter was forcibly removed by Newcastle fans during Sunday's clash at St James' Park following an incident that is said to have left children frightened.
The shocking moment, which took place in the family enclosure, was filmed by season ticket holder Sara Morrison and shared on Twitter following the 2-0 defeat. Fans were quick to comment on the video, saying that the man in question had been "throwing bottles."
Sara, who was attending the match with a child, said although she did not see any bottles being thrown, the Arsenal fan had been "extremely aggressive" with everyone around them before being led away by Newcastle supporters.

"I have sat in that area for years and I have never seen anything like that before," she said.
She continued: "I didn’t actually see him throwing bottles but I did see him being extremely aggressive with everyone around. People did attempt to diffuse the situation but he was clearly not in agreement with that.
"The stewards were very slow to react and very ineffective. Hence, it took some fans to remove him from the area.
"I was several rows in front so I didn’t see everything. This was all I could see.
"A lot of kids around seemed frightened, which isn’t a great situation."
Northumbria Police said it is investigating the incident and working closely with the club to establish if any offences took place.
A force spokeswoman said: “We are aware of a video circulating online in which a male was ejected from St James’ Park.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers are working closely with the club to establish if any offences have occurred.”
Newcastle United and Arsenal did not respond to Chronicle Live's request for comment.
