Streaming service Hulu has ordered 20 more episodes of hit reality TV show The Kardashians, following the success of first two series. The news comes just days before the third season premieres, with fans eagerly anticipating even more drama.
The upcoming third instalment picks up from last summer, before Kim's split with comedian and actor Pete Davidson, while Tristan Thompson's infidelities still hang over Khloe. In recent preview trailers, there is explosive footage of Kim, Kourtney and Khloe all arguing over respect, boundaries and their fashion deals with Dolce & Gabbana.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians (KUWTK) ran for almost 15 years on E! before ending in 2020, allowing the family to sign a lucrative deal with Hulu. On the beginning of KUWTK, family matriarch Kris Jenner, told Variety: "I realised really quickly that we had something, and it was very special.
"Once we knew it was a hit, that's when you put on a more creative hat and you start to think, 'Oh, I see where this might be going. Maybe we should do something a little more outside the box and use this show as an amazing platform.' And that's what we did."
When series three of The Kardashians will premiere
The Kardashians series three will be available to stream on Thursday, May 23 - this is the same day it is released in the United States. Just as with the previous two seasons, however, only one episode will drop each week.
If this series of The Kardashians follows the previous two, episodes will be released each week at 8am.
How to watch The Kardashians
Though viewers in the US can watch The Kardashians on Hulu, fans in the UK will have to use Disney+. The Disney streaming platform subscription costs £7.99 a month, or £79.99 a year if paid annually.
