Tom Izzo and his family are ramping up their efforts to support the Lansing community through their Izzo Legacy nonprofit organization.
On Tuesday, Lupe Izzo, wife of Tom Izzo and founder of the Izzo Legacy, released a statement announcing that they have established an endowment fund with the Capital Region Community Foundation. The endowment will go towards supporting different causes in the Lansing community.
“Tom and I feel it’s important to give back to our community that has given us so much over the years,” Lupe Izzo said in the statement. “Starting the Izzo Legacy with my family has been a dream come true.”
