For those looking for a quintessential Valentine’s Day dining experience, the top eating-out specialists at Open Table have revealed their 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in the UK for 2023.
And of course, Edinburgh's top culinary scene had to feature and there are no less than three restaurants in the capital named.

Leith's bustling food and drink scene is home to these Spanish cuisine experts with their stylish Iberia-themed interior offering the perfect spot for a wee date night out.
Set up in a former warehouse on the cobbled streets close to the Water of Leith, it is ideally situated close to the Water of Leith, the restaurant’s menu is filled with dishes combining Spanish recipes with top Scottish ingredients.
Kyloe Gourmet Steak Restaurant, West End
There are few restaurants that can rival Kyloe in the west end when it comes to enjoying the very best beef dishes around.
Working closely with some of Scotland’s top farms and butchers, they aim to provide the best steak experience in the city.
And it seems the reviewers at Open Table were suitably impressed with hundreds of five-star ratings and some of them describing it as the "best dining experience they've ever had".

For over a decade now, this iconic restaurant on the Royal Mile is ideal for 'wowing' that special someone, combining the luxury you'd expect from the Old Town with a modern feel.
Expect lush dishes created using quality Scottish ingredients like 12-hour braised beef, venison, salmon and of course, the famous Stornoway Black Pudding.
