The internet does not know how to react to Nancy Mace’s arms being covered in tattoos

U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace unveiled a heavily tattooed look on her newly launched YouTube podcast, Get Maced.
Mace had her first nine tattoos done around 2023-24 amid a series of personal crises, telling Politico earlier this year it was so should could feel “the pain that I need to feel.”
The artwork displayed in the show includes floral designs, a lion portrait, the word justice, and a quote from a Virginia Woolf novel.
The tattoos have attracted comments of their own on social media, with author and activist Shannon Watts writing on X : “We’re living in a simulation” in apparent disbelief.
“Oh she is going THROUGH it,” another user said .
